Lady of the Ocean

That's a neat design for a mermaid. I like the flipper hands you have there. That's something I think a lot of designers of mermaids don't do--they don't add extra fishy details, it's always just a tail and shell bra.

I like that she's topless, too. Seems silly that an underwater creature would wear a bra. ^_^ The background's a bit too gradienty. I like the way you shaded her--pull that into the background as well.

Pretty cool! The arms are very nicely done, spot on for the anatomy. What's your typical style?
